I år var vor “Piratkopieringskonference” 100% Nordisk og blev arrangeret af Patent- og Varemærkestyrelsen, Dansk Industri samt Anti-Counterfeiting grupperne fra Danmark, Norge, Sverige og Finland. First Nordic Anti-Counterfeiting Day seminar was held on September 11, 2014 in Copenhagen. The seminar was organized by the Nordic anti-counterfeiting groups (DACG, SACG, NACG and FACG) in co-operation with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, Confederation of Danish Industries and the Plesner Law Firm. 

The morning session concentrated on enforcement in China. This topic was covered by top-level experts, security representatives from the TaoBao-group / AliBaba and the Honorary Chairman of The Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) Jack Chang. In the afternoon, Brand Protection Manager Johan Bravert from the SKF brought a company perspective on protecting its brand. Special Advisor Peter Hedin introduced the audience to the IPR Observatory and Mrs.

Ann-Charlotte Söderlund from the Gozzo Law Firm and Mrs. Lene Dahl Prahm from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office told about the Observatory Working Groups. Last but not least, Detective Inspector Henrik Vestergaard illustrated what the police can do against the pirate trade. The seminar was attended by 90 participants from all Nordic countries.
